Office Nook

<div style="text-align: center;"> Happy Monday loves! Did you all have a fabulous weekend? <br /><br />I've made some changes to my office nook lately. Part of it has to do with needing a spot for my gold perfume prints, and part of it has to do with the fact that I couldn't bear to be apart from my bamboo chairs any longer. I hauled one out of storage (aka Mom and Dad's basement) and it looks so perfect here. Craigslist Purchase: Chippendale Chairs

At $645 a piece they are obviously out of my budget. But then I stumbled upon a real bamboo chippendale set - 4 matching chairs and a table. I offered $80 and it was accepted! And they are almost identical in style to the JA chairs. I couldn't be any more thrilled!!<br /><br />I plan on selling the table. It's beautiful and in great condition but I don't love the idea of a matching set. I also know that I'm going to spray the chairs, and maybe replace the worn cane seats with something upholstered. I won't decide on a colour until I have a room to put them in, but of course I'm thinking about it already. The zebra print, the lucite and butterfly artwork, the grasscloth wall coverings, the use of the color coral, the chippendale chairs, the polka dotted seat cushions - All of it embodies the major design trends of today.<br /><br />And yet, when I read the article, I couldn't believe that this room was designed <span style="font-size: large;">30 years ago</span> and has been unaltered since.
